Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information HARLO Industries LLC collects when you use HARLO SurveySuite, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have with respect to your personal data. When you use the COGO calculators, traverse tools, and other computation features, the coordinates, angles, distances, and other values you enter are processed locally on your device to produce results. We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage statistics about which calculation tools are used most frequently, but we do not systematically collect, store, or transmit the specific field data or project coordinates you enter into calculation tools, except where you explicitly choose to save a project within the application.
If you use the Projects feature to save work, that saved project data is stored in our secure cloud infrastructure and associated with your account. You can delete saved projects at any time from within the application.
When you interact with the AI COGO Assistant, your input prompts and the generated responses are transmitted to our AI service provider (Anthropic) for processing. These interactions may be used to improve the AI model in accordance with Anthropic's data use policies. We do not store the content of your AI COGO Assistant conversations beyond the active session unless you explicitly save them. We encourage you not to enter sensitive personally identifiable information or confidential project data into the AI assistant.
We may receive information about you from the following third-party sources:
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: subscription status, purchase history, and device identifiers necessary to validate your subscription;
• Stripe: payment confirmation, subscription status, and fraud signals (we do not receive or store your full payment card number);
• Analytics providers: aggregated usage statistics to help us understand application performance.

We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: comply with a legal obligation, court order, or valid governmental request; protect the rights, property, or safety of HARLO, our users, or the public; investigate potential violations of our Terms of Service; or respond to an emergency involving risk of harm.
We will share your information in any other circumstances only with your explicit consent.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information — information that cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual — for research, analytics, marketing, or other purposes. This information is not subject to the restrictions in this Privacy Policy.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service. We also retain information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We take the security of your personal information seriously. We implement and maintain reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:
• Encryption of data in transit using industry-standard TLS protocols;
• Encryption of sensitive data at rest within our infrastructure;
• Access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis;
• Regular security reviews of our application and infrastructure;
• Third-party service providers contractually required to maintain equivalent security standards.
No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information using commercially reasonable means, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe that your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at privacy@harlo.industries.

• Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Correct: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
• Right to Opt Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. This right is therefore not applicable, but we will never sell your data.
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Service.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. Exercising your rights will not affect the quality or price of services we provide to you.
To exercise any of these rights, submit a verifiable consumer request to privacy@harlo.industries. We will respond within 45 days of receipt. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Regardless of where you live, we extend the following rights to all HARLO SurveySuite users:
